Today, the biggest Football celebration starts in South Africa. No spot for Georgian national team, hence my only hope is once again related to Portuguese squad. Even though there is almost no one left from my "Dream Team" (the so called Golden Generation) I still cannot switch to another country.
Portugal has always had bunch of individuals, they've always played beautiful football, though despite all these pros, they've never managed to transform into a stable/result oriented squad. Most of the time they had a lack of good manager and from championship to championship the generation of Figo, Rui Costa, Nuno Gomes and others grew old. Very tiny detail has always been missing in there and semi-final was a maximum they have achieved so far. Not to mention an awful night with Greece, when they lost against Anti-Football shown up by Hellenes. That's basically a case all the time when it comes to a team like Greece, Italy or Germany. Portugal is always weak against Calcio/discipline oriented teams and last World Cups and European Championships were clear examples of it.
But nevertheless, they can always show a great football, at least a game which will always remain to one's mind, and I'm sure the upcoming championship won't be an exception.
So let's hope Ronaldo and his fellows will be in a good shape for South Africa.
